As much as I love music, it’s a wonder it’s taken me so long to get around to an album review. But, the wait is over.
10/10
The original Sinner release remains one of my favorite albums of its time. In a lot of ways it was my gateway to harder rock. This adds an entire album of content to something that was already great.
Normally, I tend to avoid remasters and releases. I figure paying for things once is plenty. Nostalgia won out this time and I gave in. After running both discs on repeat for a couple of weeks, I’m glad I did. Between the new versions and the remastering, I felt like I was drawn into the music on a deeper level. Hearing all the parts more than I had before.
All in all, a solid album and a solid purchase.
